Army Spouse

VaNessa Green

VaNessa Green grew up in a small town in northeastern Montana. After graduating high school, she attended college in Billings, Montana, where she met her husband. The two married in 1995 and soon after relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. There, they welcomed a son in 1997 and a daughter in 1999.

In September 2001, VaNessa's husband joined the Army, launching their military journey. Over the years, they have been stationed in seven states and two countries. VaNessa has been involved in military and community support organizations, volunteering with the Family Readiness Group (FRG) and Protestant Women of the Chapel (PWOC). While stationed at Camp Casey in South Korea, she served as the Inreach/Outreach Coordinator for PWOC, organizing service projects and outings around Seoul for women and children.

In August, her friend and fellow graduate introduced VaNessa to the Dog Tag Program. Intrigued, she attended the first available Zoom meeting to learn more. VaNessa is excited about the opportunity to gain clarity and direction for her entrepreneurial journey while also building lasting connections and friendships. She has always been naturally curious and enthusiastic about learning.

Her favorite baked goods are caramel rolls, a special recipe she loved baking with her grandmother.
