Marine Corps Veteran

Tyler Williams

Tyler Williams was raised in Missouri before joining the Marine Corps. In the Marines, he served as a tiltrotor crew chief on the MV-22. He served for two years in Okinawa, Japan, before receiving his dream orders to work for the White House at HMX-1, where he completed his service.

After serving, he enrolled in Northern Virginia Community College. He was accepted into the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to pursue a B.S. in Statistics and Analytics. Tyler learned about Dog Tag while at the annual Warrior-Scholar Project conference. He hopes to start his own cleaning company, Grime Reapers, in 2026.

Tyler’s favorite baked good is a cruffin, which is croissant dough baked in a muffin tin and filled with different flavors.
