Susan Lee

Susan Lee is a true Philadelphia native. She earned a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education/Mathematics, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership at Temple University. After living in Philly for 25 years, she left teaching and took a gap year to find herself (legend says she's still looking).

She told the Universe that she wanted to know what it's like to live in different places. Not long after, she married her husband and the Army sent them around the world. As her husband served in leadership roles as a psychiatrist, Susan kept everything at home running smoothly while advancing her career through multiple pivots.

Before pivoting to entrepreneurship, Susan spent a decade working in education and non-profits, where teaching and empowerment became central to her identity. Her career coaching business helps high performers build generational wealth while prioritizing personal growth and relationships.

Susan first heard about Dog Tag through an alumna, who believed that the program's holistic approach would resonate with Susan's values. She hopes that Dog Tag will provide the business acumen and network needed to pursue a venture that serves the underserved and underestimated in D.C.

Susan is currently obsessed with anything that has tahini or cardamom in it.
