Stephen is an Air Force veteran from San Antonio, TX who holds an Associate’s degree in Cyber Security from Northern Virginia Community College. Stephen enlisted in the USAF in 2006 as a Security Forces Military Police Officer and was stationed at NORAD in Colorado Springs, CO. Stephen’s training as a military police officer was critical during his second deployment to Iraq, where he volunteered to be a member of the USAF Police Transition Team tasked with recruiting and training the local police force in Baghdad.
Prior to joining the Dog Tag Fellowship, he served as an intern to the USAF Surgeon General and most recently was the Social Media Manager for an international police organization, where he used various social media platforms to broadcast organization initiatives and highlight significant milestones.
His tenure as a social media manager ignited his interest in government contracting. He hopes to start a government contracting company that utilizes federal benefits to help service-disabled veteran-owned businesses become competitive in the federal marketplace. Stephen plans to gain the tools to build and sustain a successful business through the Dog Tag Fellowship. His favorite pastry is a freshly-baked, oven hot, buttery croissant.
