Sharon Jegede
Sharon was born in Havana, Florida. She was raised in Thomasville, Georgia and enlisted into the Army as a Transportation Management Coordinator. June 31, 2021, Mrs. Jegede retired from Regular Army. She has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. She has earned an Associate’s Degree in General Studies from Troy University and Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University.
Her awards and decorations include: Bronze Star, Medio Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (6), Army Achievement Medal (4), Army Good Conduct Medal (6), National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal(3 Bronze Star), Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 3), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Medal (Numeral 7), NATO Medal, the Multi-Functional observers Medal(2) and the Meritorious Unit Citation(2).
Mrs. Jegede is married to Adeshina Jegede and has one child, son Zadorien Hollis (17).
