Shanel Adams
Shanel sees baking as a therapeutic outlet for the soul and takes pride in contributing to a larger mission. Her culinary journey began over 12 years ago; she joined Dog Tag in 2015 as a baker and has advanced within the company over the last ten years, dedicating her passion for baking to the establishment and growth of the DTB catering department.
As the Senior Catering and Wholesale Manager, she has refined processes, enhanced operational efficiency, and fostered innovation within her team. With her operational management capabilities, Shanel combines her love for baking with her skills for creating systems to boost business performance. Her areas of expertise include menu development, sales, operational system design, and entrepreneurship education. Shanel holds a certification in Food and Beverage Management from Cornell University.
In her free time, she cherishes moments with her daughters and family, travels to explore new desserts, enjoys painting, and seeks to learn new baking or business techniques. Her favorite baked good is sweet potato pound cake drizzled with marshmallow glaze, and she loves to bake intricately designed tiered cakes.
