Sarah Abu-Sheikha

Sarah believes that holistic wellness is not only important to living a happy life, but absolutely essential. The fellowship program’s focus on the wellness of veterans and military families is what ultimately drew her to work for Dog Tag. Sarah’s role provides support for Dog Tag’s growing alumni community by managing alumni communication, providing resources and opportunities to alumni, and organizing engagement events.

A native Washingtonian, Sarah enjoys her days off by hiking in Rock Creek with her rescue dog, Waffles, and trying out new local restaurants and bakeries.

Sarah’s favorite baked good is the Dog Tag Blondie.
