Air Force Veteran
Rosalyn "Rozz" Bennett
Rosalyn Bennett grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. At the age of 17 she began her active-duty Air Force career with her mother’s signature to enlist! She would go on to serve 27+ years, having spent her entire adult life in the U.S. Air Force.
During her tenure in the Air Force, Rosalyn started out as an air traffic controller. She was selected for the “BOOTSTRAP” program and completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources at Troy State University. After completing Officer Training School, Rosalyn began her officer career as a command post officer. She would then go on to become a Morale, Welfare, and Recreation officer and complete her career as a lieutenant colonel and having served as a commander two times in her career.
Rosalyn was introduced to Dog Tag by a cohort alumni. The “whole person” concept of Dog Tag’s program immediately impacted her decision to apply. Rosalyn hopes to gain a better understanding of the fundamentals of business operations, finance, marketing, and management. This learning environment will open a wide range of entrepreneurial opportunities for her as she creates a path of focused success.
Her favorite baked good is just about any baked good with a cup of coffee!
