Paolo Fleurant

Mr. Fleurant is a native of Haiti, he migrated to the United States in 1986, and graduated from Miami Central Senior High School, Miami, Florida. He enlisted in teh navy in 1995, and has attended several Navy technical schools, to include Engineering Core School, Master-at-Arms A-School, Executive Protection, Physical Security Engineering Course, Combat Training School, and Expeditionary Warfare Embarked Security Team Training. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia College and is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy Class 199 and is actively pursuing a master's degree in international relations from American Military University (AMU).

During his service in the Navy, Mr. Fleurant has been stationed at numerous duty stations both in the U.S. and overseas and was assigned to a myriad of position of increased responsibilities. His duty stations include USS Wasp LHD-1, Norfolk, VA, Naval Station Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Bahamas, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD, Navy Security Forces, Bahrain, Expeditionary Security Group One, Maritime Security Group Three, Commander Navy Region Europe Africa Central, Naples, Italy, Commander Navy Region Southeast, Jacksonville, Florida, and Cooperative Security Location 3Comalapa, El Salvador. His Deployments and Operations include - Operation Allied Forces Bosnia-Kosovo, Operation Vigilant Mariner, Global War on Terrorism, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, U.S. SOUTHCOM Counter narcotics Operation and others. Deployed to CENTCOM as part of the Executive Protection Team, with combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, and maritime missions in Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Djibouti, UAE, and numerous other countries.

After 26 years of active duty, he retired from the Navy and served as Physical Security Specialist, at Commander Navy Region Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, VA, and is currently working as a contractor, with the U.S. Coast Guard Security and Policy Management Office. Mr. Fleurant is an entrepreneur, a community leader with a passion for community growth and advancement. He currently manages a small catering service company and participates in a myriad of other business ventures. He is a member of the Program Management Institute (PMI), The Haitian American Association of Virginia (HASOV), the Association of Haitian Professionals (AHP), the U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Association (CPOA) and Active volunteer with Onwards Ops (ETS Sponsorship), Love and Hope Orphanage, The Fire Watch “Watch Stander,” etc. Mr. Fleurant has two daughters, Beatrice, and Danielle, and is a resident of Middleburg, FL.
