Nicole has lived in Jacksonville, Florida for the past 30 years – Go Jaguars! She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina, and has worked in classrooms and schools ever since. Most recently she was the director of the extended day program for a large elementary school, responsible for all aspects of running and administering the program. She currently focuses on working with special needs children in the early education program.

As the spouse of an Air Force Reservist, she developed a strong affinity for the military and service members. She is extremely proud of the annual event she organizes with her community for wounded military members and their family. This one-day event allows families the opportunity to fish, boat, BBQ, play games and enjoy a day together on the St. Johns River.

Nicole enjoys spending time with her four children and large extended family. With the support of her family, she is considering becoming an entrepreneur. Nicole heard about the Dog Tag Fellowship Program after receiving a box of Dog Tag baked goods as a gift. She hopes the program educates and informs her of all aspects about starting and operating a small business.
