Michael Bower

Michael was born in South Bend, Indiana in 1967. Relocated to Union, South Carolina in 1984 and currently resides in Hartsville, SC. Michael graduated from Union High School in 1985, and last attended Coker University in 2012, as a business major. Michael started his military service on April 19, 1985, in the SC Army National Guard and later became Active Duty Army. Continued his career on active duty through November 30, 2006. Accumulating just short of twenty-two years of active duty. His career fields included infantry, administration, supply, medical, training, recruiting, retention and attrition. Michael retained the rank of Sergeant First Class and was the acting First Sergeant and full-time supervisor for his last two years of service.

He sought out the Dog Tag program as a means of personal and professional development. Michael looks forward to the Dog Tag program enabling him to begin a new career in Information Technology (IT) or Artificial Intelligence (AI). Michael’s favorite baked food is the chocolate mocha crunch cupcake.
