Marie Buryak

Marie is originally from Haiti, and migrated to the US at an early age. She's an Air Force Veteran, both National Guard and Reserves where she worked as a Public Health Technician.

After serving for more than 18 years in both Army and Airforce, Marie went on a path to self-discovery and found healing in her love of gardening and baking. She remembered having Haitian pate as a happy moment in her childhood. Now she wants to bring that magic to the DMV area with offerings of her homemade recipes and culture in a café setting that celebrates life. Her favorite treats are Carrot Cake and Haitian Pate.
