Strategic Advisor and Lead, Fellow/Alumni Advisorship Program

Lisa Novick

Lisa Novick joined Dog Tag in 2015 as a strategic advisor on branding, messaging, and creative communications, and began teaching a class for the fellowship program on similar topics.

The Advisorship Program grew out of ongoing discussions with fellows and alumni about structuring and fulfilling their career paths. Lisa offers one-on-one strategic advice to fellows during their five-month course of study and to alumni to help address each individual’s entrepreneurial ideas, professional aspirations, and personal goals.

Lisa has more than 30 years of experience in the marketing, communications, and philanthropic space; co-founded two entrepreneurial ventures; and worked in the nonprofit, corporate, and public sectors including running the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s communications department, overseeing health education campaigns at Porter/Novelli Public Relations, and serving as an expert appointee at the National Institute of Health’s National Cancer Institute. She is an avid baker and an enthusiastic taste tester.

Lisa holds an A.B. in psychology from Duke University.
