Leslye Jones-Beatty

Leslye Jones-Beatty was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana with a B.A. in Political Science. Three years later, she graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law with a J.D.

Leslye has been married to Brian Beatty for 22 years. Brian retired from the Army in 2012 with the rank of CW2 (Chief Warrant Officer). Leslye practiced law for many years and in 2013, she left her legal practice to work exclusively in the fitness and wellness industry. She had dreamed of doing this since early in her legal career as she enjoyed working in the legal field, but lacked the time and resources to work on her business skills as much as she would’ve liked.

In the fall of 2021, Leslye attended a networking event with Roll Call Chicagoland. At that event, she learned about the Dog Tag Fellowship Program and knew right away that she would like to apply. Leslye looks forward to learning business skills, networking with a wide variety of inspiring people and creating a business plan that will enable her to move forward.

Leslye’s favorite baked goods are chocolate chip cookies.
