LaTasha Crooks

LaTasha Crooks is a retired U.S. Army veteran with 21 years of honorable service and a strong pay-it-forward leadership philosophy. Her career culminated as the Army Senior Enlisted Advisor and Army Lead Recruiter in Washington, D.C., where she provided strategic guidance, mentored and recruited joint service members, and advised senior leaders at the highest levels of military service.

Originally from Texas, LaTasha is a graduate of Strayer University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management. Her military and personal experiences shaped her into a strategic problem solver, collaborative team player, and people-first leader who thrives under pressure.

Introduced to the Dog Tag Fellowship Program by a fellow alumnus, LaTasha is eager to gain the knowledge and resources needed to formalize and grow her vision into a sustainable business. She looks forward to connecting with a supportive community and expanding her professional network throughout the fellowship.

Her favorite baked treats are anything red velvet.
