Kaylenne Brown

Kaylenne “Kay” Brown is from Columbia, South Carolina. She received her education from Old Dominion University (BA Dance/Theater) in Norfolk, VA and Adelphi University (MS Nutrition) in Long Island, NY. Kay served thirteen years in the Marine Corps. She went from enlisted to officer and served in many areas across the Marine Corps.

Kay spent most of her career in an educational leadership role, serving as an instructor in several non-commissioned officer (NCO) schools, planning and curriculum writing, as well as career planning. As an officer she served as a Public Affairs Officer.

Kay was brought to Dog Tag by an alumni that gave such great testimony about the program. She hopes to gain insight, not only on her business, but how she will continue to grow as a person to help others in her community.

A fun fact about Kay: she absolutely loves vegan chocolate chip cookies!
