John Elko
Lieutenant Colonel (ret) John A. Elko is from North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, where he was raised by a restaurant family. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Therapy from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in May 2003 and was commissioned as an Armor Second Lieutenant on August 8th, 2003, at Fort Lewis, Washington
LTC Elko is a graduate of the Armor Officer Basic Course, the Adjutant General Advanced Course, and the Army Command and General Staff College. He has attained a Master of Business Administration Degree from Webster University.
During his career, LTC Elko completed overseas tours in Germany and Hawaii and served five combat tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2006-2007; 2008-2009) Operation Enduring Freedom (2012-2013), Operation Inherent Resolve (2015) and Operation Spartan Shield (2016-2017).

John is married to Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Gloria J Elko. Team Elko has been together for over 20 years, and have two amazing children, Sophia Marie (9), Ethan Michael (6), and a blue heeler puppy named Nebby.
