Army Spouse/Caregiver

Jesyka O'Brien

Jesyka O’Brien is a caregiver, licensed dog trainer, and military family advocate originally from the very small town of Winfield Park, New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Drew University, with a concentration in Economics / the Economics of Business, Money, and Financing, where she developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking, leadership, and service-driven work.

Jesyka is a military spouse and caregiver, caring for and supporting the daily needs of a wounded veteran. Her responsibilities include managing daily living needs, coordinating medical care, overseeing household operations, handling all financial management and budgeting, and planning for long-term care and stability.

She was drawn to Dog Tag because of its mission to empower military-connected caregivers and veterans through entrepreneurship, purpose, and community. Jesyka hopes to gain practical business skills, mentorship, and confidence to grow a mission-driven venture centered on service, impact, and sustainability.

Through Dog Tag, she aims to refine her business vision, strengthen her leadership capacity, and build a network of like-minded changemakers.

Fun fact: Jesyka’s favorite baked good is a super fudgy brownie.
