Jacqueline Melton

Jacqueline (Jackie) Melton was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a daughter of a United States Marine, she lived in many locations as a child but claims St. Louis, Missouri as home. Jackie received her BS in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, from the University of Missouri in Columbia. She also holds an MBA from Webster University.

Jackie was commissioned in the United States Marine Corps in 1988 and served 20 years on active duty. During her career Jackie served as a Disbursing Officer, Fiscal Officer, Executive Officer, Protocol Officer, Comptroller and Branch Head.

Jackie comes to Dog Tag eager to retool and learn new skills in technology and social media that will assist her in starting and maintaining a successful family business that could provide some vocational opportunities for her son and other people with special needs. Jackie’s favorite baked good is Lemon Bundt Cake.
