Controller
Erynn Pawlak
Erynn started at Dog Tag in October of 2023 as the Controller and brings with her a variety of experience in nonprofit financial management. With a background in education and disability advocacy, she is familiar with the unique challenges and opportunities that present themselves when working with service-based organizations. Erynn believes that we become what we do each and every day, so it’s important to love what you do.
Erynn holds a B.S in Agricultural Economics as well as an MBA in Nonprofit Finance, but is increasingly interested in data analysis and presentation. It is her goal to transform raw data about business operations into actionable information that meaningfully informs growth. Financial information can be used to tell stories, internally and externally, and it’s Erynn’s goal to help identify them!
Both an entrepreneur in her own right (having maintained a small farm and consulting business), and a practitioner of meditation and yoga, Erynn was drawn to Dog Tag’s holistic approach to self development and improvement. The fellowship program and its impact on those in the community is a mission she truly believes in.
Erynn lives in Clarksburg, MD with her two children, dog and cat. An avid nature lover, fly fisher and kayaker, Erynn spends most of her free time exploring rivers and camping. When she isn’t out and about, she enjoys tending to her homestead where she keeps chickens, bees and a variety of vegetables to be canned, pickled and fermented.
