Elisabeth (Libby) Baugess is a caregiver to her wounded husband and a mother of four energetic children. Originally from Springfield, VA, she earned her B.A. in 2004 from the University of Tulsa, in Oklahoma where she met and married her husband, Ken.  In 2009, Ken joined the Navy and they welcomed their first child, thus starting her role as a stay-at-home mom. Originally stationed in Augusta, GA, they continued westward, enjoying the seaside town of Monterey, CA, the beaches of Honolulu, HI, and the cultural diversity of Manama, Bahrain. In 2018, her husband was traumatically injured and transported to Walter Reed in Bethesda, MD.

For mutual support, the now six-member family currently reside in her childhood home with her elderly parents. In support of her husband, she attended a Hiring Our Heroes event and was blown away by the opportunity the Dog Tag Fellowship Program offered. She especially loves the practical and well-rounded approach, but, most importantly, her future marketability to better provide for her family in the absence of her husband’s career.

Once an avid baker, she cannot wait to try all of Dog Tag Bakery’s goodies especially her favorite… brownies!
