Deanna Haynes

Deanna Haynes is a Chicago native and US Navy spouse of 13+ years. It was always her dream to be in healthcare, so she graduated from ECPI University in Nursing. Beyond her joy for health and science, she loves all things sweet and hosting events for those around her. She realized her true passion and ultimate goals were to create spaces and events for people to feel heard, encouraged, and celebrated.

She decided on a career shift to focus on her entrepreneurial goals. Luckily, she received a newsletter from Blue Star Families with details of a living business school that focused not only on business foundations but wellness too. Being a part of a program that helps people forge their own paths, build confidence, learn key business skills and build community seemed too good to be true. But she knew right away that’s where she belonged.

She is sure that Dog Tag will bring her business knowledge, customer success and community relationship building to the next level. Beyond her background, Deanna’s favorite baked goods are peach cobbler, cheesecake, and Portillos chocolate cake (no other chocolate cake ever lol). But, anything she has baked with her children she loves the most!
