Air Force Reserve Spouse
Danielle Lee
Danielle Lee grew up in Walnut Creek, California, and lives with her husband and two children in Washington, D.C. She is married to an Air Force Reservist. Danielle received her Bachelor’s degree in Government from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, and her Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
While in college, Danielle found her love of baking, resulting in many middle-of-the-night baking sessions when she should have been sleeping or studying. After college, she continued baking for fun while working, eventually starting a small cottage baking business. Since then, Danielle has juggled her career in international development, family, and baking. After the agency she worked at was targeted for closure, Danielle attended a workshop at Joint Base Andrews, where she learned about the Dog Tag Fellowship. Even though the circumstances for closing her agency were disappointing, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to pivot and dedicate time to growing her business and entrepreneurship skills.
Danielle is excited to work with a cohort of passionate individuals from the military community and hear from experts about the path to running a successful small business. Danielle’s favorite baked good is a fresh croissant.
