Dan Le is from Westminster, California. He graduated from La Quinta High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Shortly after graduating high school, Dan Le enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. His primary job in the Marine Corps was as a Field Radio Operator. At his first duty station in Okinawa, Japan, Dan taught communication equipment classes to Marines deploying to combat theaters. Dan was also a combat marksmanship coach for Marines in his unit. As a Corporal, Dan deployed with Regional Corps Advisory Command, ETT 6-3 as an embedded training team member to train and mentor their Afghan National Army counterparts. After serving four honorable years as a Marine, Dan separated as a Sergeant to pursue higher education.

Dan’s goal is to create a business that helps his fellow veterans. However, he has lacked the business acumen to get one started. After searching for opportunities to further his education, he stumbled across the Dog Tag Bakery Fellowship Program. Dan learns best with a hands-on approach, Dan was instantly drawn to the holistic learning approach the program has to offer.

Dan’s favorite baked good is the croissant.
