Charles Jones

Charles Jones was born in Oak Park but lived in Arlington Heights, a suburb of Chicago, his entire life before entering the Marines. Charles attended Mount Prospect High School before the military and DePaul University, majoring in Business Administration, after his time in active duty was over.

Charles was a Veteran Staff Sergeant in the Marines and served for about 10 years before separating. He was a motor transport operator by trade and acted as the liaison for motor transport, but eventually became the Operations Chief for 2nd Battalion 24th Marines in Chicago, IL, handling logistical operations.

Charles became aware of Dog Tag by happenstance during an online course given by Bunker Labs. After researching the organization, he became instantly eager to apply. Charles hopes to refine and universalize his business acumen and help others do the same. He’s very excited to be a part of the team and make new connections.

Charles says his favorite dessert is “funfetti cupcakes with buttercream frosting…. heaven!”
