Cassandra Duncan

Cassandra Duncan lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, and is a military spouse, learning and development professional, and aspiring entrepreneur. She earned an MBA from SUNY Empire State College and built a successful career in security management, training, operations, and program support across government, retail, and nonprofit organizations. Throughout her career, Cassandra has been passionate about building dynamic teams and bringing people together through facilitating learning experiences, coordinating large-scale programs and events, and organizing family reunions. These experiences inspired her business concept, Kinnected, which combines technology, event planning, and legacy preservation to help families stay connected across generations. By leveraging digital tools and platforms, she aims to simplify reunion planning and make it easier for families to share their stories, preserve their history, and reconnect with ease. Cassandra was drawn to Dog Tag because of its commitment to entrepreneurship, community, and purpose-driven leadership. Through the fellowship, she hopes to strengthen her business skills, expand her network, and gain the tools needed to grow Kinnected into a sustainable venture that creates lasting impact for families and communities. Her favorite baked good is red velvet cake.
