Brittney Rice

Brittney Rice hails from the Hampton Roads area in Virginia. Her studies brought her to Radford University, which is in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Being that her parents were Navy, she’s been supporting the forces in one capacity or another since her high school volunteer hour days.

When she relocated to DC for a job, she started volunteering at the USO at Henderson Hall, which is where she’d find two of her best friends, in addition to her loving Air Force partner.

She discovered Dog Tag around the time they opened and would source client gifts from their bakery. It wasn’t until many years later that she would reconnect with a friend, on a move back to the East Coast, who had mentioned the wonderful experiences that Dog Tag offered in their Fellowship Program. Her goal is to gain a wealth of knowledge in the business entrepreneurship world, from not only the program, but her colleagues as well. While attending the program she hopes to build a community within her cohorts and the area.

Her favorite baked good is a shoofly pie, pistachio croissant, or almond pastry of any sort.
