Bridget Gehrz

Bridget Beuckens Gehrz is originally from Starbuck, a small town in rural Minnesota, she currently resides in a suburb of St Paul. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from College of Saint Benedict and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Minnesota. Bridget is the surviving spouse of a Navy Veteran, she remains connected to the military community as a volunteer with military survivor support organizations. Currently at a pivotal point in her career, Bridget is seeking a way to combine her nursing expertise and life experience to serve others. She was introduced to the Dog Tag Fellowship by a friend and fellow Dog Tag Alumni. Bridget is eager to learn new skills to help lay the foundation for a future career that can sustain herself and her family and serve the communities that she belongs to. Brilliant bakers abound in Bridget’s family, but she is not one of them! The baked good that always brings a smile to her face and transports her back to her spot at the kitchen counter of her youth is her mom’s chocolate chip cookies pulled straight from the freezer, yes, they are way better when chilled!
