Anthon Calix-Hestick

Anthon Calix-Hestick is the oldest of two, born February 14th 1985 on Luke Air Force Base, Glendale Az.  He has lived in Florida, South Carolina, Egypt, South Korea, Connecticut, and Ohio. Anthon enlisted for the Marine Corps out of Cincinnati, Ohio in Dec of 2004, and shipped to boot camp at Parris Island, SC on March 7, 2005. He was trained in the exceptional field of 0811/ Field Artillery Cannon Crewman at Ft. Sill, OK. After training, Anthon was assigned to C BTRY in 1st Battalion 10th Marine, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina where he deployed in March of 2006 and Sept. 2007 to Iraq. In January of 2010, he was assigned to the Artillery Instructor Battery in Quantico, Virginia to help with the training of newly commissioned officers for the call for fire portion at The Basic School. There he stayed until discharge in March 2013. He has four kids: two boys and two girls.
