Marine Corps Veteran
Amelia Peacock
Amelia Peacock is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, certified Mental Health Peer Specialist, and nationally recognized advocate for women veterans and trauma-informed care. Raised in the Gulf Coast region of Texas, Amelia channels her competitive spirit and deep sense of purpose into service, leadership, and community transformation. Her experience as a Corrections Specialist in Okinawa and Charleston continues to shape the resilience and authenticity she brings to her work today.
With a B.S. in Psychology from Old Dominion University, Amelia builds bridges across operations, talent acquisition, financial services, and community outreach. At Grace After Fire, she advanced statewide wellness programs, peer-to-peer initiatives, and transitional services for women veterans and their families—work that solidifies her commitment to amplifying lived experience as expertise.
As founder of The Sentinel’s Collective, Amelia leads a trauma-informed platform that integrates both systemic change and peer-centered healing. She collaborates with service providers, peer networks, and community leaders to design sustainable solutions that honor lived experience while influencing policy and practice. Her work reflects a dual mission: to strengthen individual healing and to transform systems through collective advocacy.
Amelia is continuously invited to speak at conferences, symposiums, and collaborative events where she shares her peer experience and advances conversations on mental health, trauma-informed care, and veteran advocacy. Whether facilitating peer-led dialogue, coordinating statewide outreach, or standing on stage, she embodies authenticity, strategic insight, and a fierce commitment to elevating voices often left unheard.
Outside of her professional life, Amelia thrives in nature—hiking, hunting, and practicing tactical driving. Her adventurous spirit mirrors her approach to advocacy: fearless, focused, and always moving forward.
Amelia Peacock represents the power of collaboration, resilience, and community. Her voice is not only one of experience—it is one of transformation.
