Amber Harrison

Amber is originally from Brooklyn, NY, and graduated from SUNY Dutchess. She's an Army Veteran, where she served as a Nutrition Care Specialist and worked in various positions at the 10th Field Hospital.

Her mom has been encouraging her to apply to Dog Tag for a few years, but she was focused on her military career. She didn’t think she wanted to be a business owner until after she retired, and didn't have the time to participate. After news of medical separation, she fell in love with a business idea and felt Dog Tag would be the best program to usher her into entrepreneurship.

She’s excited to soak up as much knowledge as possible so that she can set her business up for success. She thinks this will be a unique opportunity to learn with and from others with similar passions. Her favorite baked good is a really good slice of cake.
