Alex Wagner

The Honorable Alex Wagner is the CEO of Pacer Forge Strategies, a strategic advisory practice focused on talent, technology, and national security. He is a Distinguished Fellow at the Atlantic Council, a Senior Advisor at Hiring Our Heroes, and teaches a course on law and national security policy at Syracuse University's Maxwell School in Washington, DC.

From 2022 to 2025, Alex served as the Senate-confirmed Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs. He was responsible for all policies governing the recruitment, development, and care of the Department of the Air Force's more than 700,000 Airmen, Guardians, and civilian employees, as well as their families. In earlier Pentagon appointments, he was Chief of Staff to the Secretary of the Army and held positions in the Office of the Secretary of Defense focused on rule of law and arms control policy.

Outside government, Alex has served as Vice President at the Aerospace Industries Association and as Global Policy Development Manager at Uber. He was a fall 2025 Pritzker Fellow at the University of Chicago's Institute of Politics. He holds a J.D. from Georgetown Law and an A.B. from Brown University.
