Aida Abril

Aida Lissette Abril is a native New Yorker with a strong academic foundation, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Master of Arts in Political Science, and a Master of Science in Business Analytics. She is a proud Marine Corps military spouse, bringing a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths within military families. Aida was drawn to Dog Tag by the program's commitment to empowering the military-connected community through meaningful, hands-on training and entrepreneurial education. As the Founder and Principal Consultant of Family Union LLC, a tech-enabled human and social services consultancy, she hopes to gain valuable networking opportunities and practical insight into scaling her business sustainably. On a lighter note, Aida's love of culture extends to her taste buds — she has a deep appreciation for Colombian Torta Envinada and Dominican cake, finding that her palate reflects the same values of diversity and connection that guide her personal and professional life.
