DOG TAG INC. ANNOUNCES A NEW STRATEGIC PLAN AND OPPORTUNITY FOR NEW LEADERSHIP
Dog Tag Inc.’s CEO of more than thirteen years, Meghan Ogilvie, will step down, making way for a bold 3-year strategic plan for the veterans’ nonprofit under new leadership.
The Dog Tag fellowship program directly supports veterans, military spouses, and caregivers in their journey to effectively navigate transition out of service, achieve ongoing career and financial success, and build community.
The executive search for the innovative social impact nonprofit will be managed by LeaderFit, as the organization finds the right captain for a ship that has spent over a decade building a presence in Georgetown, at Dog Tag Bakery, and offering something unique to transitioning military families with entrepreneurial goals. The impact of the program continues to ripple in communities nationwide through over 350 alumni. It will take a uniquely committed and passionate leader to continue delivering life-changing impact with a passionate team.
Meghan Ogilvie, CEO of Dog Tag Inc.: “Leading this organization has been one of the greatest privileges of my life—a journey marked by purpose, transformation, and meaningful impact.
This decision comes at an optimal time. Dog Tag is in its strongest position yet—with a solid financial foundation, clear strategic roadmap, and deeply committed team ready to carry our mission forward. Healthy transitions happen from a place of stability and vision, and that's exactly where we stand today.
Together, we've built something truly unique. Now it's time for new leadership to take Dog Tag to the next level, building on the enduring mission we've established while bringing fresh vision and innovation rooted in our core values.”
