Loves about being a supervisor: Being store supervisor brings me joy because I get to connect with each team member.
I came to Dog Tag Bakery with no prior knowledge of the organization. On my first interview with Shanel, I learned what Dog Tag Bakery mission is. I felt a deep connection with the prepose of the Bakery. When I was offered the position, I said yes right away because I wanted to belong to a mission, a cause, and a purpose.

Loves about Dog Tag: Dog Tag Bakery is not just a Bakery, it’s part of a mission to improve lives. I enjoy learning the FOH and the BOH.

Main responsibilities: I come in early to get the café ready to open for business. I also make sure each team member is ready to start the day off confidently and correctly.

Achievements: I achieved owning my own Wire Art Jewelry business for 10 years. I have studied Education at Dale Mabry Community College to pursue my AA in EDU.

Relevant work experience: I learned catering from the bottom to the top when I was Promoted to Head Catering Lead at Panera Bread.

Enjoys in off-time: Spending time with my family and friends. Taking walks on some of DC beautiful trails and going on bike rides.

Background info: I am the youngest of seven children. I am originally from The Bay Area (Oakland, CA) My family were all artist that created panting, jewelry, and sculpture. I have travel to nearly all of the United States. I moved to DC after living in Florida for five years for a change and a new career. I plan on going back to college to receive my AA in Business.

Favorite baked good: My favorite has to be the Deluxe Breakfast sandwich. Honey Thyme Biscuit fried egg and cheese.
